In the matter of petition under Clause 11.14 of the MPERC Electricity Supply Code, 2013 against illegal and arbitrary demand raised by the Respondent Electricity Company by levying an additional surcharge on the consumption of power from consumer’s own captive solar power plant vide demand letter dated 14.09.2020 & 16.10.2020 followed by bill dated 26.10.2020 & demand letter dated 21.11.2020. The impugned demand has been raised by the Respondents without any authority of law and in contravention of the Electricity Act, 2003. |
