As soon as a problem occurs, immediately register a complaint through any of the channels below and ensure you obtain a Complaint Number.

Submit a physical application letter directly at your nearest local electricity distribution office center.
Level 2: Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (ECGRF)
File an official written Representation with the Electricity Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum of your specific region.

Level 3: Electricity Ombudsman
Submit a formal higher appeal representation directly to the state Electricity Ombudsman Office located in the capital.

Level 4: Non-Compliance Petition (MPERC)
If the distribution company defaults on implementation, the consumer may file a petition before the Commission under Section 142 of the Electricity Act, 2003.
